10:00 meet at Kita-Kamakura station main exit ticket gate
10:15-11:00
Enjoy Tokei-ji temple nearby. See exhibit at temple museum (Daisetsu Suzuki and other’s works are often exhibited)
Guide will discuss the history of the temple and zen masters and philosophers’ that lay to rest in the temple cemetery.
11:00 enjoy mini-Kaiseki style lunch at a nearby Japanese restaurant. Special service for those on tour. (Meal Cost: around 1400 yen per person)
12:00 depart for Meigetsu-in temple
Enjoy scenic walk to the temple
12:20-13:00 Meigetsu-in temple visit.
See ancient stone statues and engravings in rustic caves inside temple grounds.
Enjoy tea and sweets (optional)
